Firefly’s investigative team is comprised of current and retired law enforcement professionals and licensed private investigators from across the country. Each member brings extensive experience in investigating sexual and physical abuse, with deep knowledge of how these crimes are concealed, disclosed, and prosecuted. Our investigators are trained to approach each case with discretion, thoroughness, and a survivor-centered focus—ensuring that the truth is uncovered and justice is pursued with clarity and conviction.

Firefly’s independent investigations into sexual and physical abuse are not a substitute for law enforcement action. We fully comply with mandatory reporting laws in every state. Any suspected sexual abuse, exploitation, or criminal conduct involving a minor is promptly reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency or county department of human or social services, in accordance with state statutes.

Firefly recognizes its legal and ethical responsibility to ensure that all credible concerns are reported without delay. We also collaborate with relevant organizational leadership to fulfill all reporting obligations transparently and in a timely manner—while preserving the integrity of the investigative process and prioritizing the safety and well-being of potential victims.
